So. PEEP! ☺
The 2013 Honey Harvest is in! All said and done we've got about 850 lbs of locally produced, minimally handled, 100% raw honey! That is a lot of honey. A lot. I plan to spend some time this winter working on all kinds of good eats made with honey. With a little luck, a couple of recipes might even work out. *wink* If they do, I'll share them here. If they don't...well, just forget I ever said anything! If you've got a favorite recipe, I'd love to see it, please feel free to message me. I'll post it and give you a shout out, too!
Earlier this month, I introduce a new product: Tinted Lip Stuff! And I tell you what...it has gone over very well. VERY well. I'm surprised how well I have two varieties: "Pinka Colada"...a lovely sheer pink color with a Pina Colada Flavoring. And "Honeyed Copper" is just that...A light and sheer color copper with a tasty honey flavoring. The same Feeding the Habit Lip Stuff recipe that you know and love but oh so pretty with color. Not on the website just yet but will be the end of this weekend. Watch for it!
I just purchased a bunch of new fragrances to test out. Time to change things up a bit. I'll be making small test batches to see how they work out. *Fingers crossed* that they turn out well...because the fragrances straight out of the bottle smell fantastic. (Dang, I LOVE my job!!!!)
In the meantime, if you're looking to pick up some Feeding the Habit products, you'll be able to find them several ways:
You can buy them retail at "Very Vintage" in Litchfield, "Peaceful Thymes" in Atwater or "Meshed Designs" in Hutchinson.
If you follow me on Facebook you'll know for sure if I'm going to be at the weekly Litchfield Farmer's Market on Thursdays from 2:30 to 5:30. I'm not going to promise to be there every week, things come up and I don't want people to be disappointed if I'm not there. So if you follow the Feeding the Habit Facebook page, you'll up on the most current info.
And Willmar friends: I will see you at Celebrate Art!/Celebrate Coffee! on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Busy, busy, busy! But it's all good clean fun, amiright? ☺ Indeed. So until next time, stay sudsy, my friends! Stay Sudsy!
